This time of year is so great for leprechaun mischief and applying that fun to our core curriculum. At the beginning of the month, I introduce the idea of our leprechaun, sorts, puzzles, and a monthly journal. The kids get to use their first day to write a sentence using our word of the week (make).
We also love this freebie for a literacy station.
During math, we use the game, SPARKLE! for an anticipatory prep to these number puzzles.
This year, was just as awesome, but this time we used graphs and did this for our math.
Yep. Alecia, the leprechaun. We’ve never had a female leprechaun before, so this should be good!
